All clubs in the county belong to Hampshire Ladies Golf who have been awarded the England Golf and the R&A's Women in Golf Charter, which commits signatories to supporting efforts to increase the number of women and girls playing golf and to encourage more opportunities for women to work and volunteer in the sport.
As part of this initiative, the club ran taster sessions in June and August for any women or girls who might like to try golf. With some of the ladies expressing an interest in joining the Club, we have introduced a pathway by which anyone who is New to Golf can progress to becoming a member of the club.
Corhampton is now recognised as a signatory of the 'Women in Golf Charter' and received its certificate from the R&A.
Corhampton Golf Club Ladies Section has developed a programme to facilitate new Lady golfers or those who are returning to the game to learn how to play and subsequently join the Club as a playing member. This programme forms an integral part of the Club’s commitment to the Women in Golf Charter.
Please contact the office on 01489 877279 - option 1 for details.
Stage 1: Introduction to Golf
Taster Session – we run a free taster session in early summer to “try golf” followed by tea with the New Lady Members Co-ordinator and members of ladies’ section. The Taster is not essential and depending on the time of year you may wish to join an existing group if there is space available.

At the moment these lessons are ongoing but will be flexible according to the group. Lessons are held in the week and on Sundays for working ladies.
