The Senior Men's Section is probably the most active and well-organised group at Corhampton Golf Club. With its own Captain and committee and currently over 100 members, it enjoys a variety of competitive and social golf all year round. The section is open to all male members over the age of 60 for a small additional fee each year.
The section has a dedicated slot on Wednesdays from 08:00 to 10:30 which is run on a roll-up basis, ensuring new and established members always find playing partners on the day. The Wednesday slots have either a one-off competition or one of a season-long series and provide a good mixture of qualifying competitions and competitive fun events.
For those who enjoy hosting members from other clubs and playing their courses in return, the Senior Men's Section currently plays 30 summer friendly matches with clubs in Hampshire and the surrounding counties. In addition, a Seniors' team takes part in an annual Winter League with 5 other local clubs who all play on free-draining courses.
A number of Singles and Doubles knockout competitions are run throughout the year for those who enjoy the extra buzz from matchplay.
